The room itself was a nice size and great value for money with a balcony, a desk to work at plus 2 three-quarter beds provided. Location: the hotel was very close to the main shopping centres and malls and the highway.

Every time I'm in Bloemfontein, I choose this place. I have just returned from an excellent stay in this trendy boutique hotel. - the rooms are neat and air-conditioned. - the location is good and easy to reach, just 2 miles from an art museum. - It's in a safe area, which is another bonus. - the room is reasonably priced. - the services are friendly and include a heated pool.

Although having another room available, I booked for two rooms but on arival I was informed only one has been reserved.

Conveniently situated.
the cleaners are noisy in the mornings. The food at the restaurant was horrible compared to other similar type of hotels I've been to.

The rooms here were great - they had extra pillows, a fridge, and a balcony; everything you need for a comfy stay 😊. They seemed recently updated and well taken care of.

I honestly cannot say that there was one thing that I enjoyed during my stay, it was a pretty below-par experience for a Protea Hotel.
Only one vending machine in the entire hotel, which was not in working order! The receptionist at the time was also very unfriendly, and did not make any effort to resolve the vending machine issue. Also no mini-bar in my room, so I had to drink tap water throughout the evening.

We enjoyed the convenience and proximity it offered to our dance venue. Our room was functional and clean and provided us with all we needed. Thank-you.
We opted out of the breakfast, as we dont eat big breakfasts and the price was a little too hefty for us. But if there was a smaller menu we would have considered it, eg a cafe style menu.

In my room, there was a TV with lots of channels, air conditioning that I could adjust, and a safe for my valuables. the beds were super comfy, and the food was really tasty! 🛌

The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile on their faces. I had a minor issue with my room key, but the staff quickly resolved it and apologized for the inconvenience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I had a great experience at this hotel.

The complementary cookies and bottled water were a nice touch. the hotel's location near the city center and main attractions made it easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
The breakfast buffet was quite expensive, especially since there were limited vegetarian options available. the wifi signal in the room was spotty and slow, making it difficult to stay connected to work and family back home.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
